Directions & Opening Times

APear Tree Poultry is located at Toplands Farm, Woodplumpton, Preston PR4 0NE, which is directly behind the Wheatsheaf pub. Turn before or after the Wheatsheaf (depending which direction you approach) onto an avenue named The Orchard. At the top, with the playing fields facing, turn right onto a farm track, follow the cryptic sign and keep left for quite a while, with fields either side. Eventually, you will see over 50 pens on your right, just before the farmer's bungalow, outbuildings and farmhouse. The shop and hatchery is located to the rear of the farmhouse. Again the cryptic signs shown on this page will provide directions.

Opening Times:

Monday - to Sunday 10am to 4pm

Although not essential, we feel it may be beneficial to phone and book an appointment day/time where possible, so that we can organise our diary appropriately. This will assist us to ensure we can dedicate sufficient time to everyone who calls, particularly, those people new to keeping hens, who always have lots of interesting questions for us to answer. We think the time we spend with new customers is important and valuable. We just want to ensure our 'friendly hens' go home with 'happy customers'. This we feel makes us quite unique as breeders! But if you just want to visit us whenever you are in the area, then you will be more than welcome to have a good look around, and maybe even get to handle the hens.
